A Fight for Justice: My Struggle Against Exploitation and Betrayal

My name is Sohail, and I have spent my entire life fighting against injustice, exploitation, and betrayal. I never thought that my own people—family, relatives, community members, and even the people in my neighborhood—would turn against me. But today, I stand alone, struggling to survive in a world that seems determined to push me down.

I was born into a poor family in Karnataka. My mother, an uneducated yet hardworking woman, worked as a maid to support my brother and me. She sacrificed everything to give us a better life. But instead of receiving support and love from those around us, we have been constantly deceived, manipulated, and denied our basic rights.

Betrayed by My Own Family

My father's family refused to give us our rightful share of my grandfather's property. My own brother sees me as an obstacle. He wants me out of the way so he can claim my LIC insurance money and other financial benefits. Even my uncles have turned against us.

Our house, a small 10x10 room, was bought with my mother’s hard-earned money. It originally belonged to my maternal grandfather but was registered in my uncle’s name. Now, my uncle refuses to acknowledge our rights and has become our enemy. We wish to sell our portion and buy a bigger house, but no one is willing to help us.

Community Exploitation and Professional Struggles

I am a skilled plumber, but for the past two years, I have been denied work in my state. I strongly believe that this is a planned conspiracy by my own community members. People in my area, including market vendors, relatives, and neighbors, have spread false and harmful gossip about my character. They watch me, monitor my movements, and refuse to give me work, all because of their jealousy and hatred towards my knowledge and resilience.

Even the police, who should be protecting the weak, have ignored my complaints because I am poor and fatherless. They are controlled by powerful people who do not want me to succeed.

Betrayed by Friends and Leaders

I once trusted people, but betrayal has become a recurring theme in my life. A so-called friend borrowed ₹20,000 from me but never returned it. When I confronted him, he started spreading false rumors about me, damaging my reputation further.

Even the leader of the Plumber Unity cheated me. He took ₹1,500 from me, promising to make a labor card, but never did. These are the people who are supposed to support workers like me, yet they exploit us instead.

A Cry for Help

Despite all these struggles, I refuse to give up. I want to move to a better city, start my plumbing work again, and build a new life where no one can control or suppress me. But for that, I need a safe place to live.

I am urgently seeking ₹7,00,000 (7 lakh rupees) to buy a house where my mother and I can live peacefully, away from the toxic environment that has suffocated us for years.

If you believe in justice, if you believe in standing up against exploitation, please help me. Your support, whether big or small, can change my life.
